Making Vinyl Toys: The Top 3 Questions
1. What’s the Minimum Order for Vinyl Toys?
For mini vinyl toys, our minimum order is 2,000 toys.For figures 4” tall or larger, we can normally reduce that to 1000 toys. more qty more cheaper price..
If 1000-2000 vinyl toys is overkill for your needs/budget, an alternative to consider is polystone/resin figurines.
2. Vinyl Toy making: How Long Does it Take?
1. If you need us to make 3D design for you, it takes between 1-2 weeks. In general, we need customer provide the 3D design directly.2. Sample time: we need 10-15days to make painted 3D sample, then 5days shipping time to your hand.
3. After confirmed sample, we can make molds for mass production, it needs 35-40days.
4. Mass production time: if 1000pcs, about 30-40days, 2000pcs: 35-45days, 5000pcs: 40-50days. pls contact us and check the time for more qty.
Faster schedules are sometimes possible, but additional rush costs may apply, and we can only rush so much while ensuring great quality toys. Contact us with your schedule and we’ll do our best!
3. How much are Custom Vinyl Toys?
Just as no two vinyl figures are the same, no two project budgets are the same.The cost to create an order of action figures depends on:
Toy's design; Vinyl figure size; # of joints and accessories; Painting complexity; Packaging; Quantity etc..
Budgets for vinyl figure projects include 3 areas:
Per unit: Most 5-inch tall vinyl toys with packaging cost between $3.5 and $5.5 each for an order of 2,500 toys. 3-inch tall vinyl mini figures can range from $2.5 to $4 each for an order of 5,000 toys. Accurate cost need to check deisgns, pls contact us.
Setup Investments: One-time costs for design work, prototyping, and tooling are additional and normally range between $2000 to $5000 or more, depending on the vinyl toys’ complexity and reference artwork/assets available.
Freight: Shipping costs are additional and depend on the size of the packaged figure, the order quantity, and the destination. We’ll help with a freight estimate as we’re discussing your project.
